Prayer in Pictures

The new light is here. Bringing new beginnings, new hope, new energy.

May the new doors open. May the darkness be gone, and the light envelop the entire space, within and without.

May the heart always remember to be in gratitude.

May the wilderness and mist of life not hide the onward and upward path.

May the path of beauty be revealed in the midst of the mist.

May the roots grow stronger.

May the vision widen.

May the silence deepen.

May the gods continue to bless us.

May the colourful dance of Light and Joy continue.

This prayerful post was inspired by the delightful kolam, an earth-prayer, done by Sasikala, my talented domestic help, outside my home on January 1, 2017.

  3. Sometimes the simplest words express the most profound feelings. Are the pics by Suhas? Beautifully selected. Wish you both a very happy 2017!

    1. Yes, the pictures are by Suhas. My contribution is in listening to what these pictures were saying 🙂 Happy it all came together and invoked a prayer for the year to come. Happy new year to you all!

  4. Hugs hugs hugs, Beloo! The photos are so beautiful, so full of hope and, each one seems to be a story in itself. I love this kind of photography! Sweet kolam! A very happy 2017 to you, too. Thank you for being a part of the Gratitude Circle (the link you added to the linky leads to a “page not found” –perhaps you changed it?)

    Love, Vidya

  5. Hi Vidya, yes the URL was changed because of some date issue. Thanks for letting me know about this ‘page not found’ issue. And thank you for your sweet comment and good wishes for the new year. I am happy that you could hear the stories being told by these photographs 🙂 Hugs.
